For Children

House Points:

All the children at Horsford CE VA Primary School are shared out among four teams, named after historical houses in Norfolk. The aim is for children to be awarded house points for demonstrating our school values of 'courage', 'responsibility' or 'compassion', or for upholding our school vision to be the best we can be and to flourish as a part of the school community. They might be recognised with house points for showing kindness or sharing, looking after one another, or trying hard with a piece of learning or otherwise succeeding in some aspect of school life. These points get counted up at the end of each week and the house with collectively the most house points by the end of the year wins a treat of an ice cream or lolly from a visiting ice-cream van, courtesy of our fabulous PTA. We always make sure that siblings are in the same house as each other, to ensure that families with more than one child are all able to celebrate their success together.
